galaxy s7 meets blackberry curve! hey, what'sgood guys? keaton here. so i used to own a blackberry curve, it was like the good olddays, just because it was one of the first smartphones to ever exist, and it was oneof the first smartphones, i'd ever owned, and drop a like on this video, if you knowwhat a blackberry is, or ever owned one, because chances are a few of you probably won't, soi'm gonna show you how to make your phone in 2016, look like a blackberry. let's doit. now i showed you guys the blackberry priv, a few videos ago, check it out right up here,and the reason why i really like the blackberry priv, is just because of this keyboard, itdoesn't feel exactly like my blackberry curve from, oh my god!, like seven, eight yearsago, but it's close, and it's the best attempt
yet, and the cool thing about my blackberrycurve, in case you don't remember the curve, is that it had that pearl scrolly wheel, andit just had the best physical keyboard, and the best keyboard out there, to type, to text,whatever. oh my god! i, i think i had like three girlfriends at the time, just becauselike, i could text them all at the same time. it was great! so once you pick up the keyboardcover, it goes for 60 bucks, links below, and they make it for the s six, the s sixedge, and then the s seven and the s seven edge. so chances are, you're pretty much covered.now the way to do this, is to take your phone, you have to use their case here, when i firstbought this guys, i thought it was just, the keyboard cover, you snap it on, but it's actuallya little loose, and will fall off, so that's
why you got the case. so you install the caseright here, and then you just take the keyboard cover, you line it up to the bottom of yourphone, and then you just, snap it on. it's really that simple, and one thing that i didnotice, when i first put it on, is these keys are actually bigger than the priv's keys,so in theory i have a lot more surface area to type, my accuracy should be better thanthe privs, but we're gonna have to see that for sure. now the keyboard cover does takeup a little bit of the s seven edge's screen. it's a five point five inch screen. so i'dsay we've got around four to three and a half inches of screen left, and that's okay becausewell, they just smoosh everything, so you're gonna get a smaller phone, maybe if you likea smaller phone, you'll be covered there.
so you can just use the phone how you normallywould. you have access to your buttons here at the bottom. when you want to launch thecamera for example, well, you only know what's in frame, about two thirds of the way, solet's take my iphone right here, normally my iphone would be in shot, but i can't seethat. it's probably gonna show up just fine in the pictures, but i only know that a littlebit of it is in frame. so, that's one of the downsides, to getting that blackberry lifestyleon. so let's go and check out a typing demo now, because after all, if typing sucks, you'renot going to be blackberry-ifying. so we'll pull up notes here. we're gonna type, heywhat's up guys? keaton. okay, just quit out. that's what i wanted. well, that's typingdemo number one. let's try that again. hey
what's up guys? keaton. okay, so i got 100percent accuracy, but i will tell you this, when you're typing these keys feel super mushywhich unlike the blackberry has a nice firm tactile response, letting you know, like youhit a certain key. this, i don't know which keys i've hit, and which i haven't, and i'vebeen noticing that a lot. i've had this for about two days now. so, not only that, mythumb keeps rolling off the space bar hitting the home button. so, if you wanna go homea lot, you got that covered. and i don't know, it's just not the best physical keyboard outthere. and the worst part is like, if you don't wanna use it, you can put it to theback, but like, hi! let's just tell everyone that i'm weird. so, i wish there was a betterway, i wish you could just pocket it without
the case, because i do like the glass back,but you always need the case, to use the cover,
