hi, guys today i show you another idea that i had practically, i made a shield for e3d nozzle it is very small than .. it rapidly loses heat
3d printing in stainless steel, also, i have nozzle in hardened steel that they are not very efficient .. in heat conduction now i show you now disassemble it .. a small screwdriver
see ... it is only a small bronze ring with screw insert until it touch .. the base it get heat from aluminum head .. and with the screw fix it i personally noticed a better thermal stability of the head to make this cold shield you take a bronze/brass tube diameter .. 10mm outside and 8mm inner side .. it is standard measures
you cut a piece of 3-4mm try to cut straight .. and after correct it with a file make hole for the screw no need thread .. use some force on the screw and create a thread
it is very simple to make you will try .. and report to me if you see difference if it have sense :) goodbye .. see you soon
