preparing pepakura filei'm using model by jfcustom, thanks! i'm sure there are many ways of preparing template, but this is how i do it unfold (auto), you'll get many small pieces select "devide/connect faces" tool rotate & move pieces long process... hours later... to simplify those folding lineset edge color > hide edges almost flat much cleaner now
2d menu > change scale > scale factor...= 195mm width right click grey areameasure distance between two pointsmake sure it fits my face/head (roughly) at this stage, template is good enough to print, but i clean up lines & convert it to pdf for those non-pepakura user export to vector eps format open eps file in adobe illustrator template is still a bit messy for beginners, need some cleaning another few hours later... aha... much cleaner... rotate & move pieces so it can print better without too many unnecessary cuts
now the template fits in 9 sheet a4 q: what if i don't have a4 size paper?download the all-in-1 single pdf, print in letter (or any size) paper
iron man 3d print files,select "poster" actual size, printer cuts template into slices accordingly q: what if i have larger/smaller head?larger: print > tile scale = 120% or smaller: print > tile scale = 80% sometime took me days to produce & size test a template :) thank for watching! :)youtube/ dali 1 lomo
