hi welcome back i'm glad you joining metoday because we're going to do a fantastic little 3d painting that i knowyou'll like let's get started i'm pretty shot we're going to try to do a painting igotta break out all my my easel here's my paints heat up some water so ican get some coffee and get things started i set up my easel my paint stuff and i'mgoing to try to paint a picture today for the ala conference that's coming uphere in a couple weeks they gave me an artist alley spot and intrade for that spot the are requesting a
painting that they can auction off i need to actually break out the paintsand do a real painting and i'm hoping i can get it done today because i've beenputting it off forever so why did i get another canvas i also have to get some matte mediumlike gesso but it's transparent you print out this and use matte medium tostick it down to the canvas and then i'm going to ink over it and then i'll domore painting on top of that i came across some old videos jason's real jason's commercials jason'sinterview pocatello is now home to a
nationally published comic book artist19 year old jason brubaker recently had his original strip put out by a companyin florida how does it feel to be publishednationally pretty did i can get more cocky ok so i have this canvas now kind oftaped down and what i did was i printed out this here and i just tried to copyit lightly i messed up over on that side but well it's day two of my painting
it's take me a lot longer than i thought it wouldmainly because i don't feel like i paint but when it comes down to actuallydoing it on paper right the first time that's hard you can see i'm a kind ofcreating a little mess here and you haven't i have two canvases ones in theforeground one is the background so i'm going tocut these out these tree shapes out to simplify the color palette i'm justgoing to have the foregrounds all blues and greens and then the backgrounds allyellows and oranges and it's turning into a pretty big project we will seewhat happens today here we go
